Our origins date back to 1998, when the future founding members of Sigma attended an international conference of high energy physics, dealing with the mechanical design and construction of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment, the particle detector of the Large Hadron Collider at the C.E.R.N. of Ginevra.

We win the BMI-FOCUS regional tender for the development of a prototype of a remotely piloted terrestrial rover and part of an active neurostimulation system for astronaut training. A cooperation project with the Biomedical Institute of the Russian Federation (IBMP) in Moscow.
We start the Helyx project for the construction of an FPV drone for racing and freestyle applications. A pilot project that explores the implementation of generative design and additive manufacturing technologies.
